Founded in 2023, WAC brings together women from diverse cultures and backgrounds through meaningful connections, curated experiences and trusted resources.
Starting in NYC, we’re building a supportive community where women can find their people, grow personally and professionally, and feel at home.

So no one has to build her life abroad alone.
THE FOUNDERS
Lauriane and Lianne met in 2016 while studying abroad at UC Berkeley, where their shared ambition to build a life in the U.S. sparked a lasting friendship.
After living in different countries and navigating the challenges of life abroad, they realized how essential genuine friendships, community and trusted resources are.
They couldn’t find the community they needed, so they built it.
In 2023, reunited in New York City, they founded Women Abroad Club.
